The terms and conditions for using the JaJong platform to book accommodation, activities, and travel services in Japan.

1. Acceptance of terms

Welcome to JaJong, a platform for discovering and booking accommodation, activities, and travel services in Japan for Thai travelers. By accessing our website and services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Use in full.

If you do not accept any part of these terms, please refrain from using the platform. JaJong may update these terms from time to time and will notify you through this page.

2. User accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account information and password confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you notice any unauthorized use, please notify our team immediately.

The information you provide at registration must be truthful, accurate, and up to date.

3. Booking and payment

Prices for accommodation and services are shown in the currency stated on each listing. A booking is only complete once you receive a confirmation email from JaJong. Cancellation and refund terms follow each host's or provider's policy, shown before you confirm a booking.

JaJong acts as an intermediary connecting travelers with hosts and providers. The quality of the actual service is the responsibility of each individual provider.

4. User responsibilities

You agree to use the platform lawfully, not to publish illegal content, infringe others' rights, or damage the system, and not to use the platform for fraudulent or harmful purposes.

5. Limitation of liability

JaJong makes every effort to provide accurate information and quality service. However, we do not guarantee that the service will be entirely error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Every stay uses one of the cancellation policies below. The policy that applies to your booking is shown before you confirm and on your booking details, and refunds are calculated automatically from that policy and how far ahead of check-in you cancel. Refunds are returned in the same currency you paid.

A refundable security deposit, if the stay has one, is always returned in full when you cancel — a cancelled stay carries no risk of damage. If the host cancels your booking, you receive a full refund of everything you paid, including the platform service fee.

If you do not arrive and do not cancel (a no-show), the room rate is non-refundable under every policy; the cleaning fee and accommodation tax are refunded only if the cleaning was not carried out and the tax has not yet been remitted, and any security deposit is returned.

Flexible

Cancel 24 hours or more before check-in — full refund of everything you paid, including the accommodation tax and the platform service fee.
Cancel less than 24 hours before check-in — everything is refunded except the first night's room rate and the platform service fee (other fees and the accommodation tax are still refunded).

Moderate

Cancel 5 days or more before check-in — full refund of everything you paid, including the platform service fee.
Cancel 1 to 4 days before check-in — 50% of the room rate is refunded, plus the cleaning fee. The accommodation tax and platform service fee are not refunded.
Cancel less than 24 hours before check-in — the first night's room rate is forfeited (the remaining nights are refunded), plus the cleaning fee. The accommodation tax and platform service fee are not refunded.

Strict

Full refund only if you cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in.
Any later cancellation — the room rate is not refunded, but the cleaning fee is still returned. The accommodation tax and platform service fee are not refunded.

Non-refundable

No refund of the room rate, fees, accommodation tax, or platform service fee. A refundable security deposit, if any, is still returned.
